We have been rehearsing for principal photography for the short film Sparrow written by Dixie Sedgwick. I play a drug counselor named Carol. Lots of fun the last couple days.  I am looking forward to shooting on May 3rd. Love working with Dixie and the rest of the cast and crew. This should be a festival favorite!! Script is great!

I am playing Erin Taylor in M. Legend Brown's A Miracle for Haven. It will be M. Legend's next feature after he finishes Hiding in Plain Sight. He is filming now on this wonderful heart wrenching story about the homeless in our country. I watched a little of the filming and it is going to be huge!! But, look for A Miracle for Haven in the fall. It is a great Christmas story!

Good news about I Am Gabriel!! We had a screening in Lewisville at Landmark Ministries church. Jan Thompson of Heaven's Promise and one of the producers on the film announced that in August Echo Light Productions will release the film on DVD! It will be available for purchase. When the details are announced I will post it on my website!!

As always, I love working with Curves International! I am a member of Curves so it makes it doubly important to me!! Monica Pena, Hannah Allen and I were there in March to do some reshoots from last August and to shoot some new footage. It is only seen on their internal website, but it is looking good! I have seen a little bit of the footage!! Love working with Janell and Christina!

The rough cut of Cry is ready and Clay Luther says it is just what he wanted. I have seen a 1 minute "trailer" and it is beautiful!! Check back soon because there will be updates!! I play the school nurse and had a great time on set!!

Don't forget that I am also a musician! I  I have a Bachelor's in Music Education from Baylor University. I taught voice and piano for a lot of years! I still audition for  musicals whenever there is a part for me!I have worked at Lyric Stage in Irving in Fiorello, directed by the famous Cheryl Denson! We just happen to be from the same town south of Dallas, Corsicana.  Last September I was Sister Berthe in Sound of Music at Casa Manana. My favortie musical is The Music Man. I have been Mrs. Paroo and a Pickalittle Lady about 4 times in Texas and Oklahoma.  I have studied with the same teacher, Madeline Sanders, off and on since 1981. I love to sing at weddings! I also sing at Arlington Funeral Home whenever they need me. I feel that it is a real ministry to the family and I love to do it! If you have a party coming up or something you need a soloist for, give me a holler!!
